I spent 1 night and would stay here again. Everything was excellent, including lovely staff on request from the friendly staff. The location was great and perfect in a pretty nice area, near the bus stop for cheap, supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants and pubs and several great restaurants and clubs. Had the apartment and it was incredibly comfortable and cheap in excellent overall condition. I really enjoyed that they had a kettle and a toaster.

Comfort with a quirky twist
Clean and spacious room with all necessary amenities. The friendly hosts, and we appreciated the location's proximity to essential shops and restaurants.
Accessing the room was awkward due to tightly packed luggage and a tricky corridor layout. The noise from the busy street could be disruptive at times.

Clean, low cost hotel with marvellous location near the bus stop. Cheap, reasonably spacious room with a comfortable bed and a nicely renovated bathroom, as example. Decent food, informative staff on request from the friendly staff. Location just off shops and restaurants and numerous restaurants and takeaway outlets and transport.

The fact I had a roof over my head, a bed to sleep in, and a tv to watch.
Citigate provides very basic services for what they charge. There was no one manning the reception desk - I had to use an intercom. The cleaning staff behaved very poorly. I came back to my room after being out for 4 hours, and the girl was still cleaning my room. It should have been done after 4 hours (they provide no card to put on the door). After waiting outside for her to finish, I found she had abandoned cleaning the room altogether, and had left. I went back to the intercom, where I could hardly hear the other person, to ask if she would be back. They eventually sent someone else, who tried to tell me they are not allowed to make the bed when there are personal belongings on it. I had nothing on the bed that would have been getting in the way of them making the bed, I made sure of that before I left. When I told the girl that it was the first I'd heard of it, she too left without finishing making the bed. Citigate should be charging a lot less than $105 a night for what they offer. I won't be staying there again.

The final verdict on this
What a good stay! The room was spotlessly clean and equipped with a kitchenette, made simple meals easy. Our space offered a comfortable bed and a large TV for relaxation after a day at events. Check-in was straightforward, and the staff were notably friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Definitely worth recommending!

New bathroom
Hideous furnishings. Stuffy little room ...Dirty old curtains... Thin walls !! leaking walk ways ... ridiculous key entry to building with no cover from rain ! Fake balconies (pointless and irritating) ....

I stayed in the Executive Queen Room. Super clean and spacious with fast Wi-Fi and a big screen TV. The kitchenette was a nice touch for making light meals. The bed was really comfy, just a bit on the hard side. Pretty quiet too, even though it's near a busy road. Showers were modern and nice, but parking was a little cramped. It was a good experience.
